SERVICES
I have taught young people for 32 years in a variety of settings. My speciality is mathematics but I have a significant involvement in education outside the classroom . I offer private tuition for any level or ability of school mathematics in the Tyne Valley.
PROJECTS
I am delivering a course through the WEA which is aimed at parents who wish to help their children with mathematics and to understand more about how children learn mathematics.
I am working as a problem solving facilitator at Deneholme for National Citizenship students.
I offer a small group course for GCSE students prior to their exams.
I am developing a course linking problem solving to maths for schools this year.
I offer remote tuition through the internet to people unable to access quality education in their own location.
CLIENTS
I am happy to work with anybody whatever their needs.

ABOUT US
The learning of maths causes more problems and anxiety than any other activity at school.Anybody can succeed, it sometimes takes time to find a way of doing it but there is always a way of working something out. Confidence has to be developed throughout the learning and many learning skills can be added to a student's repertoire if time is taken. Mt tuition is always matched to the needs of the individual with close attention to the course requirements that experience shows to be vital.
